IN SEARCH OF A DVM!
We are currently looking to add another experienced doctor to our team! If you are a veterinarian and are interested in working with us, please email administration@broadwayanimal.org.
With our incredible doctors, registered technicians, assistants, and client service representatives we have a diverse and wonderful team. Let us introduce ourselves!
Dr. Folden is really excited to be the leader of the team here at Broadway Animal Hospital. She brings many years of veterinary experience to us. After graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, she practiced emergency and general medicine in the Coachella Valley until 2014. Dr. Folden always wanted to return to Humboldt County to live, work, and play, as she was a previous HSU student athlete. She and her husband had also started raising their family here before leaving for veterinary school. Since 2014, she has worked at various local hospitals but when the opportunity to purchase Broadway Animal Hospital became a dream come true she couldn't pass it up.
“I love veterinary medicine. There are so many opportunities to engage in the aspects I love while I get to play a role in improving people and animal’s lives and bonds. You will find me always making important pet health decisions with you, the best we can.”
Emergency medicine, wellness, feline medicine, dentistry, and dermatology are a few of her veterinary interests. In her spare time, you may find her hanging out at the beach or hiking with her family and dogs. Other times, she might be curled up with any of her kitties or playing with her birdies. And don’t forget the three turtles, Daisy, LT, and Lilly; she has many stories to tell about them.
Dr. Bloom grew up on the Mendocino Coast, completed her undergraduate degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology at UC Davis, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School. She has eagerly jumped into her role of D.V.M. at Broadway and is a wonderful addition to our team. She lives with her partner and two dogs, Mo and Trout, and spends her time horseback riding, fishing, backpacking, and enjoying the local breweries.
Dr. Bloom's interests include internal medicine, surgery, and wellness care. In addition to small animal medicine, she has interests in large animal medicine, specifically equine and dairy cow health.

In her free time Rochelle enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Django, and napping with her cat Rue Tang.
